A lesser known version of autumn Tie Guan Yin, which characterized by grassy herbal aroma and delicate menthol mouthful feeling (kougan). Refined tea of medium body and long lasting aftertaste. Clear liquor in a greenish hue and creamy texture.
Tender tea leaves of the Tie Guan Yin Sinensis variety undergoing a traditional procedure of moderate oxidation in motion. Leaves are folded in a traditional method that maintains the freshness and perfection of the leaves. The source of inspiration for the Taiwanese oolong industry, where similar tea is known as Milky Oolong.
Package contains separate vacuum sealed bags to maintain the perfection of the sensitive leaves. To maintain freshness and long shelf life it should be stored in freezer in the original packaging.
